Torrey C. Butler, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Torrey C Butler is the founder and CEO of Scribble, originally founded in 2021. He is responsible for setting the overall direction and product strategy for the company.
Originally, Scribble was intended solely for authors and writers to network and connect. In January 2024, Scribble pivoted to include readers and resources to reflect the global change needed in the literary community. We are developing a platform where everyone can co-exist, together.
Torrey was born in Miami, Florida and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He studied Criminal Justice at Savannah State University, before serving seven years as a Surface Warfare Officer in 2016. His life mission is to leave everything better than he found it.

Ryan Cartwright, Chief Operating Officer
Ryan is the Chief Operating Officer at Scribble, where he manages the company’s overall processes, structure, and day to day operations.
Prior to Scribble, Ryan served as a Surface Warfare Officer, where he led countless Sailors and Marines. Ryan holds a degree in Biology from Savannah State University, and is also a published author of two books. Constantly filled with ambitions, Ryan’s goal is to continue helping and supporting the needs of the literary community.

Guillermo Fisher, Chief Technology Officer
Guillermo is the Chief Technology Officer at Scribble, driving innovation and cultivating high performing solutions.
Guillermo’s commitment to diversity and inclusion are exemplified through 757ColorCoded, Inc – a nonprofit organization in Southeastern Virginia. With more than two decades of experience, he wants to continue driving change through technology, education and empowerment.

Neece McCoy, Social Media Manager
Neece is the Social Media Manager and the Scribble Book Club Director at Scribble. As the Social Media Manager, she develops and implements strategies to bring authors and readers to our platform. As the Scribble Book Club Director, she manages all aspects of the Scribble Book Club, fostering a vibrant and active community.
Her passion for reading combined with the hope of more diverse and inclusive spaces is what motivates her to continue moving forward in the literary world. You can find her studying other languages, tinkering with her camera or trying out new yoga poses in her free time.

Whitney McGruder, Author Relations & Content Strategist
Whitney is the Author Relations & Content at Scribble. She is responsible for building, supporting and maintaining strong relationships with authors through their journey on the platform.
Whitney is a fantasy author, editor, cosplayer, and self-proclaimed selfie queen. She believes that book publishing should be about community—not competition and has spent the past decade studying and living the publishing process to help her fellow authors succeed.

Niria Romero, Social Media & Content Coordinator
Niria is the Social Media & Content Coordinator at Scribble. She is the vibe architect helping to drive engagement, brand awareness, and audience growth.
Niria’s space is all about celebrating storytelling, supporting indie voices, and building a community where book lovers feel at home. When she’s not lost in the fictional worlds, surrounded by family and her pack of pups is where you’ll find her.

Anastasia Chaudry, Scribble Community Ambassador
Anastasia is our Scribble Community Ambassador. She’s the vibe setter, creating the energy that keeps our community connected, seen, and celebrated.
Brooklyn born and raised, Anastasia joined Scribble to champion inclusiveness and uplift a powerful community already in motion. When she’s not sparking connection, you’ll find her with a book in hand, on the tennis court, or in the kitchen perfecting her latest baking adventure (cinnamon bagels are next up).
