Meet Torrey C. Butler, an award-winning author, veteran, entrepreneur and Founder/CEO of Scribble, born in Miami, Florida and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

Torrey got his drive for success by watching his mother, an immigrant from Nassau, Bahamas. She did the best she could with what she had. Thus understanding his purpose from a young age, he was determined to grow into the picture of achievement and perseverance.

 

The idea of Scribble came to him after publishing his first book, Where Do I Go from Here? a memoir. He realized how difficult it was to navigate through the world of writing. The lack of networking, the lack of information, the lack of support, and essentially the lack of a safe haven for creative minds. 

 

That led him to founding Scribble. A platform for creatives to find opportunities, expand their network, and be themselves with minds alike.
